The textured sandstone overhang that forms the natural shelter of Hermit’s Cave
The sandstone overhang at Hermit’s Cave in Ecclesbourne Glen, Hastings Country Park. This natural rock shelter was used by the East Hill Hermit and sits within a steep wooded valley shaped by erosion.
