Best Month Landscape Photography 2017
I compiled my best landscape photography for each month for 2016 so here is a new compilation for 2017. In 2017 I was out each month with my camera and moved from Worcestershire to Dorset and then to East Sussex. Again, think of it like a calendar.

High Weald Beckley Woods East Sussex
Researching new locations to walk and take landscape photographs of in and around east Sussex, Beckley wood on the high weald not far from Brede looked like a good candidate for this weekend.

River Brede Winchelsea Cock Marling
Sunday I knew I wanted to go for a walk and practice some more landscape photography, but where? I like to scout new places but I had picked all the low hanging fruit. Online I found east Sussex county councils circular walks and liked the look of Winchelsea to Cock Marling along the river Brede.

Scouting South Downs Kingston near Lewes
Another hot weekend here in east Sussex, too hot to be out in the midday sun. The plan was to do an evening walk along a part of the South Downs I have not been yet. Another escarpment the other side of the river Ouse that continues to Brighton. Return to Kimmeridge and Tyneham
I wanted to return to Kimmeridge on the Dorset coast on a weekend day so I could continue the walk through the army range, Worbarrow bay and the deserted WWII village of Tyneham.

Studland Beach and Heath Dorset
Its so nice not being a wage slave even if only for summer months and Dorset on the South West coast is a nice place to be if you enjoy walking and landscape photography. My next destination just across the waters from Bournemouth was Studland Beach and Heath

Durdle Door Dorset
It was another beautiful July summers Sunday here in Dorset. I would leave late again hoping to catch a sunset but heading back to Lulworth but this time walking in the opposite direction from the cove, over the hill and to perhaps Dorset’s most iconic coastal landscape that of Durdle Door.

Lulworth Cove Dorset
The July sun was raging and in a moment of madness I decided to head to Lulworth Cove on the Dorset coast on a Saturday afternoon maybe hoping to stick around for a sunset.

Kimmeridge Bay Dorset
It was a beautiful day in early July. The great thing with not working you dont have to miss these beautiful days being confined to a stuffy office. I had a preference for walks along the coast in Dorset. The next nearest walk from my base in Bournemouth was the coastal walk around Kimmeridge.
