Mungo’s Waterfall in Ashdown Forest captured after heavy December rainfall. This episodic sandstone waterfall only flows for short periods after prolonged rain, cutting into a steep ravine where mosses, ferns, and holly thrive in the damp microclimate. The amber-coloured pool reflects the tannin-rich woodland streams typical of Ashdown Forest.
