I did a lot of landscape photography walks during April around the east of England, including the counties of Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Continuing along the A21 in East Sussex, another area of high ground with potential landscape views and good hiking was Silver Hill just down from Hurst Green. A good starting point would be from the historic village of Robertsbridge.

The weather was not going to be fantastic this May day bank holiday weekend mostly cloudy, so decided to do a walk closer to home the Suckley Hills in Worcestershire which would include a lot of woodland and just north of the Malvern Hills.

The weekend was fast approaching and the weather looked like a hot one for early April. Using my AA guide book 50 walks in Gloucestershire I selected Arlingham and the Severn Bore, with the river Severn being at its best around Arlingham.
