Mid December 2022 and the landscape had been transformed by a winter snow storm and sub zero temperatures. Come the weekend decided on a return to Kingston Ridge on the south downs in East Sussex to hopefully photograph this snow covered winter wonderland.

From Firle along the River Ouse
Studying OS maps online I was keen to walk and take landscape photographs of areas of the south downs that I had not visited yet living in east Sussex. Today would be a morning start over Firle Beacon and Itford Hill and then down along the river Ouse towards Lewes.
