Worth Matravers Dorset

I got the bearings for this walk from Worth Matravers from the AA’s 50 walks in Dorset.  But that was a 10 miler taking in the photogenic Corfe Castle.   It was the second part of this walk I was interested in walking along the coast and around St Aldhelms.

From Worth Matravers to St Aldhelms

Was a small hike across land from the parking just outside Worth Matravers to reach the cliff path with stunning views west of the classic Dorset coastline which you just cant get enough of when in this county of England.

The clouds in the blue sky were casting shadows over the sea and coastline adding depth and contrast to the landscape.  I spent over an hour shooting from this angle over the Dorset coastline.

It really was a beautiful morning to be here, a day I will always remember and captured on my sensor to relive those joyful moments.

Just beautiful views down the whole stretch leading to St Aldhelms head. Here there are some cottages, a lookout and an 800 year old chapel.  I had caught the best of the light that morning along this west facing cliff edge.

I headed east back towards Worth Matravers and then into the local pub for a pint of ale.  Once I get an image of a pint of ale in my head, I cant get it out and walking and landscape photography take second place.  Especially after I know I have caught some special landscape photos of the Dorset coastline around Worth Matravers.
