Flight Lieutenant Harry Raymond Hamilton, a Canadian fighter pilot with No. 85 Squadron RAF. Hamilton flew Hawker Hurricanes during the Battle of Britain and was killed on 29 August 1940 when his aircraft crashed near Camber Castle at Rye Harbour, East Sussex. He was 23 years old.
