Firle to Lullington South Downs
Scouting the Firle Estate
This morning decided on a scouting trip around the Firle estate at the foot of the South Downs in East Sussex. Parking up at Berwick covered a lot of ground using a mountain bike reaching as far as Firle Bostal in the west and Lullington Church in the east via Alfriston.

Chiltern Hills Landscape Photography
I felt kind of relieved September had arrived. Summer was nearly over and Autumn was on the horizon. For many landscape photographers Autumn is their favourite season. I missed Autumn last year due to travelling abroad. Not this year, I intend to be around in the east of England and beyond capturing those Autumn colours. Friston Forest White Horse View
Although I had covered most of the South Downs in East Sussex over the last year, there were still pockets left undiscovered. I also realised this late in the day I not have a good landscape photo of the White Horse on high and over. That was where I was heading via hiking through Friston forest.

Wolstonbury Hill South Downs West Sussex
While ascending Ditchling beacon on the south downs I noticed the outline of Wolstonbury hill on the border in West Sussex. I knew then I would return to walk to its summit and take some landscape photographs from there.

Sunrise over Bexhill East Sussex
During my 3 month summer break in Bournemouth I was on the lookout for a new contract hopefully in the Dorset area. One came up in Hastings for which I had an interview and later secured the job. So come early September I was moving to east Sussex and initially staying temporarily in the Bexhill area.
