Friston Forest White Horse View
Although I had covered most of the South Downs in East Sussex over the last year, there were still pockets left undiscovered. I also realised this late in the day I not have a good landscape photo of the White Horse on high and over. That was where I was heading via hiking through Friston forest.

Around Alfriston South Downs East Sussex
With my recent excursion around Jevington, I was now really keen to explore more of the south downs with my camera living closeby in Bexhill east Sussex. Next on my hit list was a return to Alfriston that I first visited in the late summer of 2016. But this time I would be starting from the white horse on the hilltop known as high and over.

Having been living in east Sussex for a few months now I was looking for new places to go for a good walk and hopefully find some good subjects for landscape photography. It was time to head west to the village of Jevington and return to the hills of the south downs.

With the nice weather and not having to work I was getting out alot around Dorset for a walk and to practice my landscape photography. The next stop Osmington involved to hill walking inland but with great views over the Dorset coast.
