It was only in March 2016 with a trip to the Burling Gap in East Sussex that I first got into Walking and Landscape Photography around the UK long before I was regularly uploading images to ShutterStock. I wanted to get out in the fresh air and sunshine at the weekends, improve my health and my photography at the same time. Kill two or three birds with one stone.

Hergest Ridge Herefordshire
The day before visiting Hergest Ridge in Herefordshire I had actually aborted mission in the Frome Valley. Reason being, first I had forgotten my quick release clamp, without that could not use my tripod. Ok, lets improvise I will just take handheld shots, a mile into the journey my memory card was full and not brought a spare and then I started to get lost using the AA guide.

Forest of Dean Gloucestershire
Another cloudy weekend beckoned, with the sunlight diffused by clouds, forests and woodland can make good subject matter to photograph. Without diffused light there is too much contrast with the bright and dark areas. So this weekend decided to take my first trip to the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire.

Painswick Cotswold Gloucestershire
This weekend decided to visit Painswick in Gloucestershire known as the queen of the Cotswolds. I was using the AA’s 50 walks around Gloucestershire as my guide.
