I first set eyes upon Nottingham hill along the Cotswold Escarpment in Gloucestershire from a photo walk atop Oxenton Hill a few months prior. It was the great views from the beer garden of the Mount Inn in Stanton just a few weeks ago that rekindled my interest in Nottingham Hill.

Pershore Sunset
Its Friday after work and got that Friday feeling, the weather forcast is great for the whole weekend, sunshine and more sunshine. Its a nice Friday evening too and decide to go out in Pershore to see if can capture any nice sunset photos over the Malvern hills and or Pershore Abbey.

While contracting in Tewkesbury come lunchtimes I usually go for a 2.5 km walk around the industrial estate, just to get some exercise, fresh air and natural light weather permitting. Nothing to take nice photos of there though.

Due to the weather was not that enthusiastic for getting out walking and taking photos this weekend. Was windy, cloudy with threats of showers, not good for photography. Healthwise though needed the walks and was eager to take some photos. I decided to go out scouting in my car.

I was settling into my new home in Pershore Worcestershire. I had purchased the AA’s 50 walks in Worcestershire guide to get my bearings in the county. Not far from my base in Pershore was the Bredon Hill, it was a long walk in the cold of early December of 10 miles.
