South Downs Sunset East Sussex

I was keen to get more experience with my new DLSR, we were having a very hot weekend in May here in east Sussex.  The hottest day on records and the daytime was too hot and bright for a hike.  So I decided to head to the Firle on the south downs late afternoon to practice some landscape photography and try and get a sunset over the South downs. Around Alfriston South Downs East Sussex

With my recent excursion around Jevington, I was now really keen to explore more of the south downs with my camera living closeby in Bexhill east Sussex. Next on my hit list was a return to Alfriston that I first visited in the late summer of 2016. But this time I would be starting from the white horse on the hilltop known as high and over.

Mid Summer Hill Sunset Malverns

I had just a few days left in my rented accommodation in Pershore, I had finished my contract in Tewkesbury soon I would be leaving these shores to do some travelling but thats another storey.  It was a nice evening in May, I still wanted to take a look at chase end hill.  The sun was setting on my stay in the West Midlands and I was hoping to catch a sunset from Mid Summer hill of the Malverns on my last landscape photography shoot here.

Hergest Ridge Herefordshire

The day before visiting Hergest Ridge in Herefordshire I had actually aborted mission in the Frome Valley.  Reason being, first I had forgotten my quick release clamp, without that could not use my tripod.  Ok, lets improvise I will just take handheld shots, a mile into the journey my memory card was full and not brought a spare and then I started to get lost using the AA guide.
