Hengistbury Head Moon Sun Rise Set

It was that time of the month again, when the sun sets in the west the moon rises in the east and when the  sun rises in the east and the moon sets in the west.  I wanted to attempt to capture this spectacle from Hengistbury head near Bournemouth in Dorset.

Hampshire South Downs Beacon Hill

Living in east Dorset I was not far from the border of Hampshire.  The south downs in the south east of England is one of my favourite places to walk and take landscape photos.  Today was going to be my first venture into the Hampshire part of the South Downs starting at Beacon Hill and making my way to Old Winchester Hill.

Bopeep South Downs Sunrise East Sussex

It is rare I ever make it up early enough to catch a sunrise, even in winter.  But it was 4AM in bed on a Saturday morning, I was wide awake and could not sleep, so get up and lets catch a sunrise over the south downs in east Sussex from Bopeep.
