From December 2017 into the new year I went on many walks around East Sussex and Kent and took many landscape photographs during the winter months. Not all the locations I visited from winter into spring 2018 produced enough content for a post on their own, but individually I took some photographs I would like to share and are worthy of a mention. Jevington South Downs East Sussex
Having been living in east Sussex for a few months now I was looking for new places to go for a good walk and hopefully find some good subjects for landscape photography. It was time to head west to the village of Jevington and return to the hills of the south downs.
Around the River Avon Eckington
Another wet and cloudy weekend for late January with few breaks. Checking the BBC weather for around Pershore in Worcestershire there was a break of about 3 to 4 hours early Sunday morning around sunrise so decided to use this gap in the weather to do a local walk along the river Avon and Eckington starting at the old Eckington Bridge.

After the epic walk along the Malvern Hills I was told another fantastic area to visit was the Wye valley in Herefordshire, places like Symonds Yat and Coppet Hill both with great views for miles around.

Dovers Hill Photo Walk Gloucestershire
This walk starts in the village of Chipping Campden supposed to be one of the most beautiful in the Cotswold. What attracted me to do this photo walk was the reported spectacular views westward atop of Dovers Hill over the vale of Eversham on the Cotswold escarpment.
