Durdle Door Dorset

It was another beautiful July summers Sunday here in Dorset.  I would leave late again hoping to catch a sunset but heading back to Lulworth but this time walking in the opposite direction from the cove, over the hill and to perhaps Dorset’s most iconic coastal landscape that of Durdle Door.

Kimmeridge Bay Dorset

It was a beautiful day in early July.  The great thing with not working you dont have to miss these beautiful days being confined to a stuffy office.  I had a preference for walks along the coast in Dorset.  The next nearest walk from my base in Bournemouth was the coastal walk around Kimmeridge.

Swanage Dorset

Not far from my base in Bournemouth Dorset was the seaside town of Swanage.  The walk around Swanage would also include some spectacular cliff side scenery and walks over undulating hills.  Swanage would be my next walk in Dorset.

Abbey Dore Quintessential Herefordshire

It was my last weekend in the West Midlands and I fancied my last trip into Herefordshire.  I chose Abbey Dore as the AA guide said it was quintessential Herefordshire, I had fallen in love with Herefordshire, so time to take one walk and some of my last landscape photographs around Abbey Dore.

Shutterstock Best Landscape Photography

It was only in March 2016 with a trip to the Burling Gap in East Sussex that I first got into Walking and Landscape Photography around the UK long before I was regularly uploading images to ShutterStock.  I wanted to get out in the fresh air and sunshine at the weekends, improve my health and my photography at the same time.  Kill two or three birds with one stone.

Sunday morning was going to be nice a sunny and decided to make a return to the Malvern hills.  Rather than walking north across the Herefordshire and Worcestershire beacons, this time I would head south over Midsummer Hill.
